POP-UP MESSAGE SAID I HAD "ANOTHER COMPUTER WITH THE SAME IP ADDRESS" AFTER I DID AN ONLINE SEARCH
Hi , It means another computer or device with an IP address is trying to use the same IP address as your computer thus information is being sent to both causing problems. You may try the following: 1.Release and renew IP address for your computer: Go to Start and type cmd in the search bar. Right click on cmd and select Run as Administrator. Type the command below: ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew 2.Try to run the networking troubleshooter and check if it helps: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-networking-troubleshooters 3.Try to reset the TCP/IP and check if it helps. I did a search on Yahoo and after I hit the "search" button, I got a pop-up that said there was another computer that was on that had the "same IP address" and that I should check the Windows logs. I went to the Windows logs and could not read them. Should I be concerned that someone is invading my privacy? (I always use the "InPrivate" mode while online.) Please advise, as I found that message very disturbing. Thank you.

In private has nothing to do with people being able to see what you are doing all it does is does not save any history or cookies... There may be someone on the network with the same ip address, otherwise im not sure what the problem is
